PASTORS - A Message from
Our Pastors
|
Worshiping God brings us
together and unites us as a community of faith. At the same time,
people in our
congregation and in our surrounding communities have individual
needs that our church seeks to address
through its many programs and opportunities to serve. |
-
We seek to provide a variety of meaningful and fun opportunities
for youth to discover how faith in God can touch their lives and the lives of others. We have a weekly
children’s sermon, Sunday School classes, three youth groups
(grades 4 to 6, 7 & 8, and 9 to 12), two children’s choirs, a
bell choir, a chimes choir, a contemporary music group for
teenagers, a confirmation class, and “Tot Time” for parents and
young children.
-
Our nursery school,
licensed by the State of Connecticut and accredited by the
National Association for
the Education of Young Children, serves nearly 200
children ages 3 to 5 each year.
-
Adults can
participate in our adult education class, Bible Study, sanctuary
choir, bell choir, social events, be a lay assistant in a
worship service, serve on one of our many committees, or
participate in one of our outreach ministries designed to help
others in our congregation or in our surrounding communities.
-
Many of our retired
members gather together twice a month to enjoy a program and
each other’s company.

Visitors are always
welcome at Prince of Peace.
We hope you will find our congregation
to be a friendly, meaningful, and enjoyable church which will
challenge you to grow in faith
and in service to others.
Yours in Christ,
Mark Nordskog, Senior Pastor
Amanda L. Warner, Associate Pastor |
